Villa Jaksic is a rustic stone house is located on a beautiful, sunny slope in the center of the small town of Donji Humac, island of Brac. The house has a long history that dates back to the 17th century. Ten years ago the facility has been completely renovated with the desire to keep all of the essential elements of the original architecture, but also to provide guests full comfort of modern housing. The house consists of two parts; smaller in the ground and bigger one that includes the first floor and the attic. The building provides privacy for the guests because it is fenced by a wall made of famous Braqc's stone. In the house yard there is a swimming pool with counter-current swimming. The pool is 25 m2 and the depth of 150 cm and can be used from 01.05. till 31.10. Beside the pool there is a paved area for sunbathing and resting of 60 m2. In the yard there is a garden with barbecue. Parking space is next to the house. There are church, shops, famous restaurant and children's playground in the vicinity. The bus station is just 100 meters from the house. The nearest sandy beach is 7 kilometers far. The house is 150 m2, consists of 4 beautifully and impressively decorated rooms. On the ground floor there is a room with a sofa and TV, a bathroom with shower and toilet. On the first floor there are a living room, kitchen, dining room and bathroom with toilet and bidet. The living room extends to 30 m2. In the living room there are comfordable sofa and armchair and SAT TV. From the living room you enter the spacious, private terrace with verdant pergola. In the terrace, equipped with a large table and outdoor furniture, there is a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding hills and forests. In the kitchen there is all necessary for preparing and storing food; kitchen furniture, stove with four burners, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. The kitchen and dining room are a "functional unit". This space has a sloping roof height 120 to 300 cm. In the attic rhere are two bedrooms. Height of this space is from 110 to 300 cm. Larger room is equipped with a double bed measuring 2x180x200 cm, smaller room has a double bed sized of 160x200. If necessary, the we can provide a child bed. We provide guests an WiFi internet at extra cost. Also, we allow pets which is charged of 5 EUR per day. Guest can also use two MTB/Comfort bikes,Jamis Explorer 3.0 and Marine Stinson. Only seven kilometers from Supetar, the largest town on the island of Brac is Donji Humac. It is a picturesque, Dalmatian village which is accessed from the ferry port, reaching a good road. It is used to say that history comes out from stone. Like many Mediterranean village, its present position and contours Donji Humac suffered in the Middle Ages. At the top of the hill, dense pine forest sheltered from prying eyes in the past has offered security diligent Dalmatian laborers. Today however, guests who like old Mediterranean lifestyle offers everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Thanks to its excellent geographical position, Donji Humac is the best opportunity to explore Brac's cultural and natural resources. In the village there is a church, restaurants and shops. Medic, pharmacy, bank, post office, shopping center, marine, fitness center, sauna and many other facilities are located in Supetar. Brac's wellknown destination Bol is 30 kilometers far from Donji Humac.
